156 Selespeed track use

To those lucky ones on this list that own the 156 Selespeed; in your opinion, do you think the sequential gearbox in those cars are robust enough for track use?

This includes Time Trialing and/or full on racing ... what do you guys think?  Have any of you had problems with them on the street?
