MILANO WON'T START

A month ago I started it up, no problem...yesterday I went out & put the
freshly charged battery back in & fired it up...but no fire!  It cranks
like a madman, and right as I first crank it there's a touch of
ignition...but then nothing, just cranking...it acts like there's either
no fuel or no spark.  Where do I start looking?  Any ideas?
