re: cleaning headlight covers

I've used Meguirs plastic window cleaner and polish (2 separate products, in
small rain-x sized bottles) with great success on Jeep Wranglers, Mercedes
SL's, and other clear plastic windows. It takes away a good bit of
yellowing, but admittadly not all of it. It clears up fogging effect nicely.
