back in the Alfa again!

Well, I have been off the Alfa-digest for some time (and Alfa-less).
However, Friday on the way home from a work related conference I stopped to
look at this Alfa. Not just any Alfa, but my first love (and first Alfa
from 16 years ago) a 1969 GTV.

And it had to be a '69, with the 0o--v--o0 front grill, 1750 engine the
smooth lines of the nose (I never cared for the 65-67 GTV nose) disk brakes
all the way around and best of all, no smog in California. I have been
dreaming and searching the internet for months! I finally found it. (with
in my budget of corse $1000) It will prob cost me 5 years and 10k by the
time I'm done (but dont tell my wife she is not that thrilled with the idea
of another non working car sucking up time and space in our lives...)

Well, how cares you might say ( or hooray if you understand my jiberish)
either way here is the details: Body perfect (no rust, dents or dings) in
primer and all interior / exterior striped and in a few boxes that come with
the car. NO DASH or GRILL (ie, let me know if you can help me here!) Engine
and tranny out. X-tra front clip.

Location: So. Calf. (found in down town LA soon to be moved to San
Bernardino / Redlands Area.

I just had to tell everyone!

Question is: do I restore it to stock?
Do I try for a race car?
What about a GTAM look a like?

All I know is I want this baby to "eat some rice"!
