AT hose replacement

Chip asks about an A.T, hose for the 164,

"Anyway, is the previously mentioned A.T. hose something I can get at a
local parts store? Hmmm, probably not. Does anybody know of the cost?"

If you can't find one locally, would it be possible for have one
fabricated, using the fittings on the one that exploded? I know in the
LA area there are several shops that can do that sort of thing. I
investigated having stainless brake line made for my Ducati, as after
market parts are no longer available for the Alazzuras. I seem to
remember that having them made, using my fittings, was cheaper than
buying them off the shelf. Of cojurse, yoiu have to wait for them to be
made. . .

Kowing very little of the 164 internals, I can only guess as to whether
or not this would even be a viable concept.

Good luck.
