more ramblings by a happy Milano owner ... the lead sled lives!

So last month (or maybe December?) I just did the check book mechanic thing
and had the sunroof rebuilt and a new headliner put in. Great stuff,
especially in winter. Hey, but I get smarter every day. So whip out the check
book and do the transaxle.

The guys at AutoScientific finished rebuilding my transaxle (complete gearbox
and rear seals and stuff for the diff), new shift linkage kit,
clutch/pressure plate & TO bearing, new driveline bearings and supports (and
some spring loaded deal unique to Milanos?), new hoses for my steering rack,
and some other junk for good measure.

The car is very tight, shifts like a dream, and is a complete blast to drive.
I don't care what the car looks like from the outside, you really have not
lived until you've driven a tight Milano. What a great car to drive!

Okay, I am happy!
