Re: master cylinder replacement



Paul,

I take it you mean the brake master, and that the vacuum boost gizmo is
where the fluid is. I had the same thing happen about a year and a half ago,
though I had a ton of fluid in there. (in fact, the symptom was a cloud of
white smoke out the exhaust when I accelerated after hard braking - far as I
could tell it was going through the vacuum hose and into the engine =:-o)

I sopped it all out with a rag, let it dry out all day, and bolted the
master back on. No apparent problems to date.
