I tried the windshield resin repair kit route on my Audi's headlight after 
successfully repairing my Milano windshield. The problem I encountered is 
that unlike a windshield, a headlight does not have a plastic laminate sheet 
between layers of glass. This makes it impossible to pull a vacuum on the 
headlight.
