top down parking

Hi!
    sorry i can't resist adding my $.002 to this issue.
    my reasons for never, well hardly ever, parking the spider
    with the top down for very long:
    -unexpected rain
    -unexpected snow
    -unexpected dirt blowing around
    -birds
    -cats
    -sunlight making the black seats unbelievably hot
    usually enough motivation to spent the .25 minute putting up the top
