Careful - US 1 around Big Sur has been falling into the sea again the last 
couple of days of rain.  How would you like to come spinning around a neat 
twistie and find -- nothing but air and a 2000' drop to the surf below?

Now for something really exciting: the road along the Amalfi Coast from 
Salerno to Positano. THAT is why US cars don't go over too well in Europe! 
(Sooner be in a blue bus!)
