Winter Musings

Hi everyone.

It's been awhile since my last post, what with my Spider in storage. But I've been
reading on the sidelines.

Just wanted to say thanks to David Ziglin for arranging the Car Capsule thing a
while back. I finally got mine and it's very cool. The car is sleeping in a bubble!
Who'd a thunk it?

I also wanted to say I'm itching to drive the car. Usually by this time of the year
it's been months since I put it away. I can't wait for mid April when the snow and
salt are a distant memory. My library of Alfa books is getting well thumbed these
days, you can be sure.

Don't know about the rest of you, but when I drive my Alfa, my entire outlook on
life changes. Things seem better. The world seems more optimistic. And worry and
stress melt away. There's just something about the bourble of the exhaust and the
feel of the wooden wheel that relaxes me, and, at the same time, invigorates me.

Yes, you're probably all thinking "Those Canadian winters really do a number on a
guy's nerves".
Maybe true. But I miss my Alfa! Badly!

What about the rest of you? Perhaps I want to live vicariously.
But I'd be interested how you Alfa makes you feel.

Yours desperately awaiting Spring,

Jonn0 from Toronto
84 Spider Veloce (safely inside a bubble)
