Alfa/BMW brakes

Any kind souls out there that are also on the BMW list, or are
knowledgable about BMW brake calipers?
I am still screwing around with a brake upgrade project on my 73 GTV:
I wish to switch front calipers to those from a late 70's - early 80's
BMW 5 or 7 series car, which will bolt right on, and then also have
custom vented rotors made by Porterfield which will fit the wider Bimmer
calipers. I know that the bolt patterns for 77-81 5 series cars, and
78-86 7 series cars will work.
The question(s) is this: Which models/years within the above range had
SINGLE inlet calipers AND vented rotors?? I know the dual inlet ones
could be spliced, but i don't want to, and i think they ALL had vented
rotors, but i'm not sure.
Failing a direct answer would also appreciate being directed to where
one could be had.
My GTV has been in the body shop for 3 months now, getting an entire
rear clip replaced after being rear-ended, as well as assorted rust work
in the nose and rockers, and a full new paint job. I am jonesing hard
to get it back, but it will look better than it ever has as long as I've
owned it. I need to fill this idle time by planning various projects,
else i'll go nuts.
Thanks for letting me vent. I don't care if Alfa comes back to the
States or not, there's never going to be another Giulia series either
way. Man do I love that freaking car.
