obituary

It is with no small amount of sadness that I announce the passing of #
ZARDA116XH1075252. Through no fault of his own Zarda fell victim to a
moments lapse in attention and his own resale value. Zarda was an odd
alloy of silver, gold and platinum. "Silver" wheels and mirrors, "Gold"
driving lites and registration and "Platinum" interior and seats.
Although a little thirsty, 1000 miles per gallon of oil, he served me
well. He was the only car that Ever stranded me on the roadside.. and
this in the 2nd week following purchase due to a faulty fuel pump. He
had a sense of humor, giving me cold feet (and wet feet) on hard right
hand turns, and picking 1 day every 6 months or so to sputter and die
without warning. He always sprang to life after the joke though.
Services were private and held at Alfa-Tech. Zarda was part of the
donor program and elected to live on in others.

Zarda has been replaced by "Son of Zarda" also an 87 Gold edition.

You will be missed....

Food for thought:

Book value on an 87 Gold edition Milano is roughly $2175 retail.
This compares with:

83 Chev Celebrity $2100
82 Monte Carlo $2150
79 Camaro Berlinetta $2275
83 Dodge 600 w/4cyl $2050
87 Dodge Colt 4cyl $2100
83 Ford Mustang gl 4cyl $2175
85 Ford Tempo GLX $2175
87 Ford Escort Wagon GL $2150
85 Nissan Sentra dlx sedan $2100

For those of you familiar with these makes and models "What is wrong
with this picture????"
