Re: Milano ARC/Victoria's Secret

Giovanni,

I have solved most of those ARC nonsense not by cleaning the connectors at the unit
itself, but rather, at the sensors it attempts to diagnose.

The BRAKE led signifies possible issues either with the fluid level or the brake pad
level. Check the sender inside your brake reservoir and make sure the connectors
are clean. As for the pads, what can I say, just short them to rule out any wiring
problems (located at front driver's side caliper and rear passenger side caliper).
If the problem still exists once you short those connectors, I'd guess it's the ARC
control unit.

The STOP led means that one of your brake lights are out or of the wrong impedance
(i.e. the bulb has the wrong rating, or bad seating in its socket). One thing to
check as well is the brake light switch, located at the top of the brake pedal
assembly. Yes, you'll have to sit on your back in the driver's footwell with a
flashlight between your teeth as you look up into the dashboard. Look for the
connector, clean that out and you should be OK. When I last found this problem, I
had to *replace* the whole switch because the old switch was corroded on the inside
(it's plastic and one wouldn't think it could corrode) and would ground itself
occasionally.

> RE: Victoria's Secret & Giulietta

I was flipping through the channels about two years ago and happened upon an E!
article about "The Making of the Dallas Cowboys' Cheerleaders Swimsuit Calendar".
The article was interesting enough as they were shooting in Costa Rica. However,
things got a lot more interesting when a city official told the photo crew not to
shoot scantilly clad women in the downtown area and they had to adjourn to a private
residence who had some relatively interesting statues in his (very lush) front
yard. As they were panning around the models, I spotted an Alfa 155 under the
porch! WOW! That was pretty cool! I yelled at Zamani who was in another part of
our house of this sighting, who then came running into the living room all excited.
The car, a maroon 1.8TS, maybe a 2.0TS, got some airtime as the backdrop of some
shots. My roomate at the time, Erik, told Zamani and I that, "you see girls in
bikinis on TV and you say nothing; an Alfa shows up and you guys go nuts. You're
both crazy."

Yes, we are.
