Minis in America

I read in a magazine recently that the Mini will be released next year in
North America.  It will be sold through BMW dealerships.  The article also
speculated that MGs could be sold the same way.  I won't speculate if
Daimler-Chrysler (after buying Fiat) would sell Alfas in the US, but this
could be a way in.
