Digesti,
I am a bit late responding to Bill's email to the Digest. I did respond =
to Bill earlier today from work, but my Yahoo account is not set up to =
post to this great forum, so I responded to Bill directly.
The Alfa Romeo Association is very much alive as I see that numerous of =
our members already have noted and posted, both to the Digest and to =
Bill personally. We are an organization with many dedicated people, who =
put in a great amount of work. We have been around for more than 40 =
years now (almost as many as the founding Chicago Chapter of AROC)
I regret that our Website is somewhat outdated, this is something we =
have at the top of our list to do in 2000.
Our newsletter The Overheard Cams is doing very well, and is in very =
capable hands of our editor and all the members who write some great =
articles.
We have tons of events planned for this year. Among other things =
Monterey and Concorso Italiano, Auto-crosses, Track tours, =
out-in-the-blue-tours, swapmeets, and much, much more.
I hope to see many of our members and friends at our first General =
Meeeting of the year at Peter's Cafe in Millbrae on Tuesday February =
1st. 7PM for bs and food, 8PM for the 'serious' part.
Best regards,
Henrik Johansen
President
