RE: Head gasket also cold start difficulty



I'd try retorquing the head bolts first, if its a bad head gasket you've
got nothing to lose and may gain some time. Secondly I'd have the
radiator cleaned out as well because it will have to be done anyway.
Though if its really bad it may then need to be done again. Another test
would be to check for bubbling in the coolant with the engine running. I
don't know how visible that would be if its marginal. Or white smoke out
the tailpipe if its really gone.
