RE: resurecting the thread on 16" rims on a Milano

Hi Brian,

If you don't oversize the tires and wheels, the car won't handle
like crap. My 16 X 7.5" wheels looks nice on my car and I have
not noticed any bad handling traits that have surfaced after
switching to these wheels. Incidentaly, my 16" wheels and tires
are just as heavy as the stock Verde phonedial wheels with 205/50
tires. I think 7.5" is as wide as I would go. Doug has 8" wheels
though and he think's they're great.
Remember to choose good tires to go along with those wheels. I
recommend Toyo Proxes T1-S or T1-Plus in 205/50/16 size. Car
handles really well. I love these tires! They're probably as good
as Yoko AVSi. Jess what do you think? A little noisy though, but
I don't mind.

Aside from the fact that they probably won't fit and the car will
probably
handle like crap, different size wheels and tires on an ABS
equipped Milano
will cause the ABS to go whacky. Your Milano is a Platinum,
right?

A car with near 50/50 weight distribution does not require wider
tires at
either end.

Fwiw,
