Arrivederci Clearcoat

I've got a charcoal grey GTV-6, and the clearcoat is starting to crap 
out around sunroof and along the rear hatch opening.  Is there any 
way of slowing the deterioration process or touching up the bad 
spots.  I have a few more mechanical projects before I get to 
seriously considering a full paint job.
