Milano 2nd gear synchro

The 2nd gear synchro in my 89 Milano has been weak for quite some time
now, anybody have experience as to how much it's going to cost to get it
fixed? Some one mentioned to me that because it's been bad for quite a
while that I might need a new 2nd gear (I barely EVER grind it!). Any
info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
