Ohio license coolness, etc

You guys aren't going to believe what I saw Thursday!! Let me preface this
by saying that I live in Oxford, Ohio. Despite the fact that I say
"circlip," "halfshaft," and "retread" instead of "snap-ring," "axleshaft,"
and "re-cap" and that I saw a Ford Focus on the street the other day, I'm
reasonably certain that I'm not actually in Europe.

I saw a Toyata MR-2 with what appeared to be a UK-style license plate
decal, only smaller. It looked like a bumper sticker on the hood. It had
a number, and (written vertically on either side) "Ohio" and "Butler"
(county). Sure enough, the car went by, and it had a completely standard
Ohio license plate on the back!!!! I realise the front license plate
thread is pretty much over, but I had to relate this!! Does anyone know if
Ohio actually offers those Euro-style stickers for sports cars with no
front bracket? Do any other states do this?

On another note:
>Ya gotta love
>an Italian Horn.

That's news to me. I get the impression that no one can hear my horn over
my engine. (You know what pisses me off? People in pickup trucks who don't
stop at stop signs, old people who don't signal turns, and overpaid
university employees in SUV's that go the wrong way down one-way streets
and pass me on the sidewalk!)

And a note to anthracite GTV6 owners:
If you haven't already, paint your front airdam (and any other nasty
plastic cladding you may have retained) flat black with one coat of
Wal-Mart spray paint. I did just to hide the seams where I glued the
shattered one back together (oh yeah, it's all about baking soda and super
glue), but IT LOOKS GREAT! If I'd known how well it'd turn out, I'd have
done a better job filling the seams!
