You can only get an exemption on the class B and class A licenses if you
transfer data from GT1. You'll save only 20-30 minutes though since they are
pretty easy to get. For the international C,B,A, and the Super License,
you'll need to pass some tests. The Laguna Seca test is a killer. The
downhill slope is tough. 

I'm afraid you cannot transfer prize money or cars from GT1 to GT2. I
wish!!!
