'74 gtv brake light stays on...

Alfisti,
  the rest of the story....
10 days before the brake light started staying  on,  i had rebuilt the front 
brake calipers.  when I reinstalled them, I only bled the 2 front brake 
lines.  
  Before testing the pressure switch, i thought that perhaps the light was 
not a false alarm and that it, indeed, was telling me somethig about my brake 
lines (even though the car stopped well).    so,  i bled the rear brakes, now 
the light is out and all seems well.
