HELP: GTV6 refuses to start on cold mornings

I am having a terrible time trying to find out why my 83 GTV6 will not start
on cold mornings, i.e. >50F here in south Texas. This morning it was about
50F and the engine just spins, no effort to even try and start. It has, in
the past, readily started in the afternoon when the temp has gone up into
the 60's. It probablym will again today. I have checked the resistance of
both the air and coolant temp sensors, both check out fine. I did find out
that the aux air valve was faulty and I have ordered a new one, but I don't
think this is the ultimate problem. I have been trying to find the
thermotime switch in order to check it and the continuity of the cable
connecting it to the cold start valve. I tried with the help of other
Alfisti at the club Christmas party yesterday, but no joy. No one seems to
know where it is so I can check it out. The wife is getting po'd because I
have to take the 164L to work. I need to sort this out pretty quick.
HELP....PLEASE
