The GTV is an old car, and an old car that's been run on the road for 30
years wil be worn and tattered and not worth very much.  At least this is
the insurance company's take on it.  If you have some money in your GTV,
tell the insurance company you want an agreed value policy.  If they can't
do it, there are loads of specialist insurance companies that will and
typically they're cheaper than the large firms.  Hemmings Motor News will
have dozens of companies that insure classic cars.
