SHO 'nuff already
They say a pig cannot be turned into a race horse, but with enough money
you can make an awfully fast pig. FORD must've taken that to heart when
they asked Yamaha to build that perfectly lovely engine for the SHO. What a
travesty that car was (foot operated "hand brake" how the hell were you
supposed to do a decent handbrake turn? or even start on a steep hill?
sheez). The Yamaha was a true engine lovers beauty looking for a decent
car. The Taurus chassis, even tarted up, just couldn't cut the mustard (not
enough money to turn that particular pig into a thoroughbred). The real
question is who cares whether the SHO could out accelerate the 164, so
could a Li'l Red Truck, wouldn't be caught dead in one (quite likely if you
tried to drive one)?
