DaimlerChrysler buying Fiat?

Anyone have any thoughts on the recent news that DaimlerChrysler is looking 
at Fiat as a possible acquisition?

Because I know you're all interested in my opinion, I think the Alfa lineup 
would nicely complement the current Mercedes offerings.  The Alfas could be 
positioned as more of a driver's car, and attract buyers who currently shun 
the "too conservative" Benzes for "sportier" BMWs.
