164S Rear Suspension Bushing Squeak & Side Mirror Glass

A few weeks back, there was a short string about an annoying loud squeak
emanating from the rear suspensions of 164s. I have had this noise for over
a year. Could someone familiar with this problem remind me of the fix? I
remember it was fairly easy, like lubing the bushings (not tightening the
bolts, which makes it worse). Thanks in advance for the help.

The passenger side outside mirror glass has deteriorated, losing some of its
silvering, resulting in black spots that don't come off. I can get complete
used mirrors from APE (or new one's from AlfaBill, Alfa Parts, etc.), but
I'd like to avoid painting a new housing. I read that the older, pre-US MY
cars (89-90) used a mirror that had a lever which released the glass. Seems
my 92 doesn't work like that. Anyone have experience replacing just the
glass on an outside mirror?
