Re: motor removal

I have come up with a slight problem in the removal of the motor on my 74
spider. I am removing the motor only, or at least trying to. What happens
is that coming forward the pan hits on the sway bar. The question is, should
I remove the sway bar or the pan? Got to be easier to remove the sway bar
and while I am at it replace all the bushings with nice new ones from Alfa
Bill. But will I still have enough clearance to remove the motor with out
screwing anything up? I know I should take the trans out with the motor as a
unit but since the trans was rebuilt just recently I thought what the heck
how hard can this be? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in
advance.
