Spider Emergency Brake

The shop manual does have a section on adjusting the parking brake cable.
It's possible that's stretched in the last 14 years :-)

Failing that, it might be time to replace the parking brake pads, which is
about $65 in pads and whole lot of grief.  Pray the cable needs adjusting.
