Also, I need to see if anyone has a set of turn signal lenses for a
Milano for sale.A friend borrowed my Alfie (87 Milano Gold,135k miles) and
one of the lenses fell off while he was enjoying it. Did they come in amber
 as well as clear? >>
I have a set on my Milano parts car. However, if I used those, I would
not have them. I ended up ordering one from IAP for my daily driver. Cost
about $38 plus shipping, but my parts car is still intact!

<< Finally, does anyone know how to replace the trunk lid release cable
on
 a Milano?Mine finally snapped,and I couldn't find the replacement procedure
in the factory manual. The emergency pull string doesn't thrill me;it reminds
me of the pullstring on a See N Say toy.I figure it's only a matter of time
 before it snaps.>>
This is not the answer to your question, just a suggestion.
Remove the license plate and all the supporting items behind it. Look
inside the trunk and drill a 1/2 inch or smaller hole in the sheet metal
between the taillights such that a screwdriver through the hole will hit the
release lever. Then replace everything, secure in the knowledge that when
both cables break, you will have a way into the trunk!
On my Milano, both cables did not break at once. The latch bolts worked
loose such that neither the normal or the emergency cable did anything. The
screwdriver hole would have vastly superior to what I did to my poor Milano
to get in to it. The trunk still does not fit quite right.
