Ordinarily the ends of the rods on shocks have flats already, so that they
may be gripable with a Vice-Grip.

Most spiders are maintainable; some are even old enough to pass into the
realm of appreciation.  By no means is it surprising that the price of
164's drops.  What amazes me is that some are even priced over 5K.
