Don't know why the electronic distributor replacements would be so
troublesome. I've replaced point distributors in my motorcycles with
optical and magnetic pickup kits for 25 years and I've never had a single
one fail. FrankenSpider is now fitted with the Bosch engine which includes
ignition computer setup, so there's no longer a choice for this one. ;)
