'82 Spider Blue

Terry O'Brien is "wondering if anyone knows if blue was a factory color for 
the '82 Spider.  I'm looking at buying a rust-free body and it's a blue/green 
color.  I know ALFA produced a few odd-color cars - maybe this was one of 
them.  Was there only one shade of blue offered?  Would anyone know the PPG 
code for this color?"

According to one ARI list I have there was a blue metallic AR 365 on the 
'82-'84 Spiders, with a different one (AR 362) on the '81 and another 
different one (AR 370) on the '85, each being the only blue on Spiders in 
those years. A different ARI list I have has the 362 for '80-'81 but gives 
two '82 Spider blues and gives "Manufacturer Paint Codes" for both without 
saying whether they are Ditzler (PPG) numbers or DuPont numbers: AR 365, Aqua 
metallic, Manufacturer Paint Code K8209, and AR 243, Aqua Blue Metallic, 
Manufacturer Paint Code W8109. For the AR 243 I have a Ditzler/PPG code, 
D15625 on an April 1982 Ditzler list which does not include any of the other 
numbers.
