ride height on GTV

Hi all, I've had to come out of my habitual lurking mode in order to get
some help finding a suitable ride height for my '74 GTV.  It used to point
to the stars, so I replaced the origional springs with Centerlines
Performance (yellow) springs.  Now it's 4 1/2" off the ground and I can't
get my jack under it.  I'd like it back up an inch.  I'm using the rubber
spacer doughnuts top and bottom, so what else can I do?  If I added
something under the doughnuts, the spring looks as if it could move around.
