I don't know that I agree that the spirit of the regulation was violated.
F1 is a sport in which boundaries are meant to be pushed.  Ron Dennis
himself admitted McLaren would also take advantage of similar loop holes if
they could increase performance by bending but not breaking the regulations.

I'm not sure this is anything to be *too* happy about - while Ferrari's
technical violation apparently didn't violate the letter of
the regulations, it does seem to have violated the spirit.  At least we'll
have an exciting finish to the race year.

Hmm, I wonder if these extra large air deflectors would help me and my
Spider get to work faster in the morning:-)
