MAF/AFM



I have not actually used either system. But, The Split Second system for
the -84 GTV6 was first used and developed with help of a local club
member. I did see a series of Dyno runs on the Split Second equipped
GTV6 while in the development stage. Split Second did not have the
initial baseline settings correct when the car was tested, but the
HP/Torque curve was slightly higher across in most areas ( remember the
area under the curve from math class). The car would jump on the dyno
under load and because the initial tables were off no matter what
adjustments there was a hiccup in the power band. After talking to the
owner a few months back, Split Second revised the tables and  the car is
running better without any hiccups. Good Luck.
