Driveline line out

Hi,

The most common problems (I saw) with driveline's are:

1	Faulty middle bearing or rubber surrounding of this (There should be
almost NO vertical play here)

2	Faulty donuts (sometimes hard to see if they are cracked inside)
ALways replace the Nyloc nuts after removing !!!!!!!

3	Faulty couplings (knocking)

4	General out off balance due to slamming on the garage floor while
removing (rare, but there are some mechanics around....)

And now the mean ones:

Gearbox and driveline not in line:
- - Some people do not reinstall the about 5 mm thick bushes between the body
and the rear gearbox mount after a gearbox or engine rebuilt. The gearbox
back sits then to high, causing a vibration under acceleration

- -Driveline couplings not in line
The drivelinecouplings should be al EXACTLY in line (wm, if at the front
one a bolt is standing a top, at the back one it must be exact the same).
This problem is caused if the driveline was seperated in the middle and not
put together in exact the same way as it was (one part turned a bit
compared to the other).

ALWAYS mark the position of the driveline parts compared to eachother !

Hope it helps,

Saluti,
