The large hole goes on top. The center is bolted to the crossmember. The
outer part is pushed down by the weight of the tranny. Another thing to
check is the exhaust hanger that bolts to the tranny. It sits right in
front of the crossmember. If it's a bit bent (easy to do), it might be
vibrating against the crossmember.
