164 O2 Sensor

Reference has been made to a suitable replacement O2 sensor on the Digest
for a 164S. A Bosch number once appeared but I can find no one who
recognizes it as legitimate. Someone has referred to a Mustang sensor but
what year and what engine? Someone else has suggested a Lincoln sensor but
again what year and model? Is one three wire sensor as good as another? Your
knowledge and experience in this matter would be appreciated.
