Have  you tried tightening the nut that holds the wiper arm on the wiper
motor post? This sometimes backs off in heavy rain when it is most
inconvenient to stop and fix / and inconvenient to wind down the window
and stick your head out to see. Good thing yours is on the passenger
side, nobody comes from that direction<G>.Seriously check and see and
whilst at it check the driver side too.
