I mostly agree with Rich, and never use RTV on my cars, hence the reason
I used the Wurth Orange Flange Sealant.  However, I do know of some good
mechanics who use the red Super RTV (also sold as Honda RTV), and they
swear by it, rather than at it.  Regarding the LocTite, that is what
ARDONA recommended for the oil line block-off plug (Wurth Blue, to be
completely correct).  Myself and others have had leakage problems on this
plug thusly (un) sealed, likely becuase the LocTite does not provide
adequate fill capabilities.
