Registering US Spec Cars in Europe

A little I can add: I know that lotsa American GIs bring their American and Japanese cars over 
there (Germany in particular) and then sell them to the locals after they are done with them. 
Therefore, there must be a way that is not too expensive, as these cars are often well used and 
not worth much.

If you tell the Digest what country in particular you're thinking of, there is probably someone 
from that country reading this who can help.
