Squeaking Shankle Sway Bars

I have the Shankle Sport springs and torsion bars with the Super Sport sway bars on my GTV/6. The rear sway bar in particular can get very noisy. I ended up removing the tape altogether, and pulling the bushings out every 3-6 months to pack them with some bearing grease. They are silent for awhile, but not for long. I've now discovered that simply spraying some good lubricant (I use Mobil 1 synthetic spray lubricant) all around the bushings works just as well, and doesn't require the removal of anything. I've only had to lube the front bar once in several years.

BTW, the reason I opted for the Sport springs instead of the Super Sport package is chassis flex. After speaking with a lot of people with track experience and several mechanics, the general consensus was that the Super Sport torsion bars create a lot of chassis flex when driven hard, if there is no roll cage. Furthermore, I have not found myself at any disadvantage during numerous time trials competing against Super Sport equipped GTV/6s and Milanos.
