A recent reply on this topic indicated several great upcoming events here in
northern Cal, but indicated that an SCCA vintage event was for SCCA members
only. While that may have been true in the past, the SCCA, at least San
Francisco Region, actively encourages all racing enthusiasts to attend all
its races- for free! Of course, to race you do need to be a member.

I'd also suggest that Alfisti not limit themselves just to the SCCA vintage
events; there are several Alfas that race in SCCA National and Regional
races and they are quite competitive. Check out www.sfrscca.org to see a
comprehensive schedule. The site also lists most of the pro events since the
SCCA members work those events as well.
