MG resale values may rival Alfas, but buying parts is a whole different
affair.  MG parts are for the most part very inexpensive and there are many
more high quality reproduction parts being made.  I still haven't found the
chrome plastic trim that edges the wood veneer on my 105 GTV shift and
handbrake consoles.  Nor have I found anyone that makes the veneer to drop
in.  With MGs, it would be one call to Moss or Vic Brit or any of the other
suppliers around.  Of course, if Alfas were as easy as MGs, everybody would
own them.
