Brake Lamps won't light

Here's the problem, I hope some one can help. Both the "brake" and the "stop" lights come on when pressing on the brakes. The fuses are good, the lights are good. I'm not sure where to look next. Oh yeah, it's a 1993 164L. Thanks.
