GTV6 questions

All,

Two questions regarding an 81 GTV6;

1) is there a procedure anywhere on calibrating the tachometer,

2) I seem to be having a problem with hard acceleration, as long as I don't
push heavy on the accelerator the engine accelerates fine.  When I push
hard, it will stumble until I back off on the accelerator a little.
Does this sound familiar to anyone?  Any ideas?
