fixing 164 front spoiler.

someone just mentioned "fixing" front spoilers on a 164.  well, the
fellow who had the car before me liked parking a little high on the curbs
(if you know what i mean)  - no doubt for safety reasons.  now the
plastic grill under the bumper has come completely detached such that it
sags a bit (albeit in a mildly attractive way!).  is there some way to
SUCCESSFULLY try to reattach this.  it's not worth a new front bumper and
all  it looks like someone tried to reattach it with some epoxy at one
point, but obviously it didn't work to well .
