Micrometer

I got mine through a Sears special "Mail order only" Craftsman tool
catalogue. But that was ~15 years ago. You might stop by your local store
and see if they still have them.

Mine was made in Japan and has the Craftsman tool number of 9-38666. It
measures both English and Metric (0-1", 0-25mm). The metric measurement
is through a 4 digit dial and has a tolerance to 1/100 mm.

Hope this helps.

Subject: where to buy a micrometer in the la la land?

Hi,

Sorry about the wide distribution of this question. Does anybody know
of a place that carries good micrometers (0-25mm) in the Los Angeles
area? I've been trying to buy one without any luck for some time.
